GE Telaire Ventostat® 8000 Series CO2 Transmitters
The technology is based on the absorption of light in a
gold-plated reflective light pipe or waveguide diffusion gas chamber. A gas
permeable PTFE filter prevents particulate and water contamination of the
sensor. Light is absorbed in proportion to the CO2 concentration and the
remaining light is measured and converted into an analog signal.
The T8041 is a CO2 transmitter designed to be installed in HVAC
return air ducts. This product offers simplicity in design and installation.
Available with analog 0-10V output only
The Ventostat 8000 series controller offers a SPDT relay
(normally open or closed) and can be custom programmed to a specific measurement
and output range using the UIP software interface or on-board keypad (display
units). ABC Logic Self Calibration Program CO2 controllers use the patented ABC
(Automatic Background Calibration) Logic self-Calibration system that virtually
eliminates the need for manual calibration in applications where the indoor CO2
level drops to outside levels during unoccupied periods
