KMC MEP-1262 Direct Coupled Modulating ControlSet Actuator
The
KMC MEP-1262 ControlSet actuator is designed to regulate large control air
dampers and valves in HVAC systems. It is controlled by a 2 to 10 VDC signal (4
to 20 mA with 500 ohm resistor) from a thermostat, controller, or building
automation system. A 1 to 5 VDC feedback voltage output is provided which is
proportional to the control signal. The actuator mounts directly to 3/8” up to
3/4” diameter, or 5/16” up to 9/16” square, shaft eliminating the need for
expensive and complicated linkages. A minimum 100 in-lb. of torque is
available over the 90° angular rotation. A gear dis-engagement feature allows
positioning of the damper and/or gear train without energizing the actuator.
Protected against overloading, the actuator does not require end or limit
switches.
